Ernesto Valverde’s men will be facing Inter Milan on San Siro without Lionel Messi tonight.

Players will bear the #NoToDiscrimination armband as they’ll come out at the San Siro to contest the Match Day 6 of UEFA Champions League 2019/20. Inter Milan go head to head with group leaders FC Barcelona tonight at their own backward with a motive to qualify to the next round.

Team News

Nelson Semedo, Arthur, Ousmane Dembélé and Jordi Alba are out with injuries as FC Barcelona have decided to rest Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto and in-form Lionel Messi. The traveling squad includes young Iñaki Peña, C. Pérez, Riqui Puig, Ansu Fati, R. Araujo and Morer, who might have a chance to show why they deserve more minutes under Ernesto Valverde. Neto Murara is likely to start ahead of Ter Stegen, with Ernesto Valverde looking to rest the big names ahead of the hectic schedule. Barca are to play at Anoeta in their next fixutre and have a Clasico roaming around next week.
Here’s a look at the probable lineup:

Barcelona (4-3-3):
Neto; Wagué, Todibo, Umtiti, Firpo; Vidal, Busquets, Aleñá; Pérez, Griezmann, Ansu Fati

Rivals Watch:

Inter Milan are tied up with Borussia Dortmund with 7 points each and need a win to qualify for the second round. Considering that Borussia Dortmund have a relatively easy opponent in Slavia Praha, Conte’s men will be looking to continue their unbeated home record this season. Inter are currently two points clear of Juventus and are looking to win the Serie A for the first time post 2010. Inter will be without midfielders Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella,Alexis Sanchez, Kwadwo Asamoa for this fixture.
However, Antonio Conte’s main arsenal consists of Lautaro Martinez and Romelo Lukaku, who’ll be a threat to Valverde’s young traveling squad. Lautaro is blazing and is set to become the first Inter player to score in 4 consecutive European fixtures after Samuel Eto’o. Lukaku has bagged 10 league goals and will be looking to increase his European numbers too. Diego Godin will be a barrier for the Barca attack as he’ll be starting tonight.
Here’s a look at the probable lineup:

Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; Godin, Srkiniar, De Vrij; D’Ambrosio, Valero, Vecino, Brozovic, Candreva; Lukaku, Lautaro

With Inter looking desperate to win and qualify ahead of Dortmund, it looks tough for a Barca side that seem not-so-interested to win this one. All we want to see is a balanced teamplay, rather than a result that’s qualityless.

Visca El Barca!
