Why he is on the hot list?

The Serbian striker has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 15 goals in 24 Bundesliga games and 7 goals in the Europa League on Frankfurt’s way to the quarter-final and also scored the only goal vs Germany some days ago.

He not only scores tap in goals bit some of his goals are outstanding and his first touches, but positioning and finishes are also excellent.

Current playing club and transfer status:

The 21-year-old is on loan at Frankfurt Eintracht from Benfica but the German club have already agreed to sign him permanently at the end of this season for a reported €7m fee but They want €65-€70m for the striker if he leaves this summer.

Is he coming to Barcelona?

Barcelona has been interested in the 21-year-old, for some time now with Ramón Planes and Eric Abidal watching him in action against Inter Milan last week when he scored the only goal of the game as Frankfurt went through to the last eight of the Europa League, where they face his older club Benfica.

There is no official bid for the player yet but Barcelona, along with some of the big European clubs is highly interested in him. Eric Abidal planning to watch him again on coming Serbia’s game vs Portugal this Monday.

Several Catalan Media’s Sport and MD reporting that Barça are going with full force to get Jovic and the Club is expecting to sign him within a month.

Barca is favorites to secure his signature as they seek a long-term successor to Luis Suarez.
